PRIVATE ONE-ON-ONE LESSONS

One hour instruction focuses on separating the

3 main components of a great archery shot:

  • Form Mechanics – Bow fitting, shot sequence, body alignment and head            position.

  • Shot Execution  – This is the core of the archer. Without proper shot                   execution, everything else is irrelevant.

  • Sight Picture  –  Get comfortable with your sight picture, aiming and going                       through the mental thought process it takes to achieve a great shot.

Cinnamon Creek ARCHERY INSTRUCTOR

Jenna Nichols

I started archery in 2013 at Cinnamon Creek Ranch through a Groupon, after which it was recommended to me by CCR staff Charles Yardley that I attend an introductory lesson. After my first introductory lesson, Charles recommended that I come to their weekly kid’s league program, where I soon became a regular attender. After a few months I got my first bow and began competing immediately. I placed 2nd at my first state indoor championship and decided to devote myself to the sport. I switched from bowhunter freestyle to freestyle in 2014 and began coaching with professional archer Michael Braden. My first year shooting freestyle, I placed 1st at indoor state and 3rd at NFAA indoor nationals. After that, I continued to work with Braden to improve my form, mental game, and discipline, where I have shown great improvement, and am now certified by him to coach others. I am currently in the University of North Texas Archery Club and plan on shooting collegiate tournaments with their team, and I plan on shooting a number of national tournaments in 2022, including the Lancaster Archery Classic, the Vegas Shoot, NFAA Indoor Nationals, and the NFAA Western Classic.
